Im sure he means happiness. but all i did to raise happiness was keep them in the party and walk around for a loong time. it will raise trust me.

You are correct....In fact to raise happiness you can just walk around...Or WIN battles...losing actually can lower it. Walking around to raise happiness can take around 8 hours to raise it to max...or a little more...
