is it possible to have your pokemon over 30? Empty is it possible to have your pokemon over 30?

what i mean by this is, if your pokemon is lvl 30 and u battle with it to kill pokemon and since it still gains exp for tht battle will it go over 30 and not listen to you?? or will it stop at 99.9 or something

It goes to 100%, but will not level. The level cap is currently at 30 and thus can't level just yet, the level should be raised to 40 some time in the later future.
