Surfing bug

Idk if this is a new bug or not, but people can use surf outside of battle even if they dont have the 5th badge for it. this lets them skip gyms and head to other cities. [cerulean-vermillion, saffron-cinnibar]

its not a bug, its other people giving lower level people water Pokemon with the ability to surf. In my opinion, kinda ruins the game... maybe fint can add something that disables surf and fly until they actually beat that gym leader required to use the moves.

I agree with this, kinda ruins the gameplay when they can get higher level pokemons from somewhere else.

Good idea, fact remains they will need to beat the gym's.

Yea, this was the bug report I sent in a while back to Fint and stuff after I tested it out with someone when it was reported to me.

may be just me, but this made no sense at all

Anyways, this is not fixed, you can use the attack while IN battles if you don't have the badge, without the badges you can use them outside battle anymore.

so you cant use them to travel? Thats a very good improvment because I saw some guy offering lower level people surf so they can skip mt moon and go right to viridian.
