Trainer icon options

I think the option of being able to change our trainer icon would be a convienient feature to possibly add. Though we still keep the same scheme that was given to us, we could visit an npc in Saffron or something to change our trainer icon for 5,000+. Also, there could be more trainer icons to choose from, since even the original one isnt available.

It's not much of a suggestion, but it would be neat to have more diversity in how people look apart from 2 different icons and a random color scheme. I've always prefered playing as the original trainer from Red/Blue.

Thoughts?

I'd have to agree, all though the new games are the ones with the most diversity would kill to be a team magma icon....Still adding a couple of the trainers would be awesome, seeing a spam of players in a grass field make the game seem like a bad mod.

It does give a random one, and there is a reason for that. While I agree with there being a wider variety of icons, the reason for random is so a whole bunch of people don't just pick the most popular one. I understand the concept.

Completly agree with the random part in the beginning. But later on in the game you should be able to pick one yourself.
Also the variety of the icons we have now is just to small, get like 15 icons more or something and then commonly everybody you see should be looking different.

*If we get able to choose our own icon, please make a pop-up showing the icon, not just the name. It's a pain to shoot at random icons wich could be end up looking ugly(in your oppinion) get what I mean?

The game is still in the works...the random option prevents everyone from choosing identical ones because they look 'cooler' it prevents everyone from being the same color. There will probably be more icons later, but for now this suffices. Oh, big word for some people. This -works-.

Yeah, We all the same in the pokemon world. What really matters is not our appearances put the pokemon you have and how strong they are.

No, bad Edie...Bad. It isn't about only the pokemon, it is about a diverse population as well, not everyone dressed in black with red hair going off about some pikachu.

We are different, Each of us have different names to begin with. Its easily to tell the difference. I just meant the whole reason Of Pokemon, is well training and battling Pokemon.

Yea, I know that is the reason, but as a MMORPG we can't have everyone looking nearly identical, it provides bad mojo. I just think the reason for different colors and different icons is to make it more diverse so that there is a variety of people and not just everyone in the same clothing and stuff. It isn't meant to be rude or mean, just simply saying that there is no reason for us to choose because the fact is there are popular icons that would be overly done. I think of special icons or changing your colors as more of a prize type of thing. Maybe a reward or something.

Yea, that's exactly what one would have to say in order to get it passed wouldn't they? The fact still stands I don't want to run around seeing a bunch of peoplein black with the same icons. x.x

I actually see no reason in keeping this topic open really.

We all agree with more icons, who could disagree with a wider variation of icons? And this obviously will happen, later in the game. Maybe even this weekend as Fint, most of the time is very fast with responding, doesn't respond in here(maybe with a thought?)
